March Break Message

Hello Grade 5/6s! It has been a long and lonely week without all of your smiling faces in the classroom. I hope all of you found time to enjoy the outdoors and spending some time with your families. Enjoy your break and I can't wait to connect with you after the break! Love, Ms. Parent

Grade 5/6: Missing Mondays! Design Challenge for the Week :)

Hello Grade 5 & 6s!! We are certainly missing all of you today as we are here in the school without you. We are thinking of each and everyone of you as we spend time cleaning our classrooms and drumming up ideas to stay connected with you and to find ways for you to stay active and engaged at your houses. In the spirit of Outdoor School, our hope for each of you this week is that you are able to still honor the possibilities of learning in an outdoor setting with your families. We have even created a special challenge for you to take part in with your families this week that we would have been doing together in the wilderness. Ideas include: plastic containers, shovels, buckets and some warm clothes. 2) As the snow is quite light and fluffy, you will likely need some additionally supports to help you in your build which will mean you might have to build a base out of cardboard in
