Weekly Update April 14-17


Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,


You are all doing a wonderful job! We know this look and feels different for each of us, but give
yourselves a lot of credit!  We thank all of you for your hard work in supporting your child at
home!  


Week At a Glance
Monday:  No classes (PD day for teachers)
Tuesday:  Math - Area and Perimeter Formulas
Wednesday: Persuasive writing, Reading Comprehension, Mad Libs
Thursday:  Math - Area and Perimeter Practice
Friday: Design Challenge - Song Parody

This week we are working on characteristics of persuasive writing using proper paragraphing.
Students are demonstrating an ability to formulate a stance about a particular topic by providing
evidence using opinions and facts. In math, we are working on developing efficient ways to find
the area and perimeter of shapes, using formulas.
