Weekly Updates + Google Meet Time

Weekly Update: April 24 - May 1

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

We are starting up Week 5 of our online learning!  It’s been wonderful connecting with the students
again on Google Meet. 

Please note that there is a change to Ms. Gilbank’s Google Meet time for this
week only.  The other Google Meets remain the same.

Week at a Glance:  Week Five - April 27th - May 1st

Monday:  Persuasive Essay Writing  

Tuesday: Long Division Strategies

Wednesday: Persuasive Essay Writing (continued)

Thursday: Division Strategies continued and practice;  

Google Meet 1:00PM- Ms. Gilbank 

Friday: Your opportunity to catch up on all of our weekly tasks;  

Google Meets (Ms. Parent 10AM; Mrs.Pallesen & Mrs.Warrener 11AM).

*Persuasive Essays will be due Monday, May 4.  

Our focus this week will be using a graphic organizer to write a multi-paragraph persuasive essay
where students take a stance on an issue. In math, we are focusing on developing strategies for
dividing with large numbers.

Week in Review:  Week Four - April 20th - 24th

Monday:  Technology Graphic Organizer (be prepared to use this on Monday) 

Tuesday: Google Classroom Introduction and Question (Turn in button)

Wednesday: Work on Work - Song Parody and Graphic Organizer

Thursday: Division Fact Families

Friday: House Floor Plan Design Challenge
