Focus and Fitness on Friday

Happy Friday Grade 5/6s!

For today, we would like you to use your time to catch up on any assignments that you’ve not had time to finish. Please scroll through our Classwork in the Google Classroom to get a list of all of our assignments to-date. Create a checklist for yourself and check off the tasks you’ve completed and things you could use the day to catch-up on. Of course, you are only expected to work for an hour each day so if you have a few things that need your attention, don’t worry! We will have other flex days in the future.


Stuck on a task? Need some one-on-one help? Email your teacher to set up a Meet session.
There could be others that are needing extra support too- maybe we could have a small group session!


As for the fitness part of this blog- we know LOTS of you love to be active and know how important it
is to get your heart rates up every day for 20-30 minutes. Some of you might go on a trampoline, ride a
bike, go for a run or play a game of hockey with your family. We thought we would share a fun PE class
we found on Youtube called: Phitness Education (PE classes by Phil). This is not a required assignment
but how fun that thus Fun guy named Phil is putting on classes that kids can take online. Feel free to
include your parent(s), sibling(s) or to join up on a video chat with a friend to crush a workout together!!
